Ingredients
- 200 g of cassava/manioc/tapioca purée
- 1 egg
- 8 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tsp grain-free gluten-free baking powder or baking soda
- 1 tsp guar gum
- Salt
Preparation
- Boil the peeled cassava until soft, then mash it and add salt to taste.
- Mix the dry ingredients and add them to the purée, kneading well.
- Shape the dough into bread and bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for about 30 minutes or until a crust forms.
- Note: We recommend serving this for breakfast with your preferred protein (chicken, turkey, fish, etc.) if you are not vegetarian.
