Coconut Marzipan Recipe

Delight yourself with these delicious coconut and cinnamon energy balls, sweetened with honey and coated with crunchy sesame seeds.

Ingredients

     
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed gel
  • ¼ cup honey
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • Raw sesame seeds

Preparation

  • Place the shredded coconut and cinnamon in a food processor.
  • After processing for a few minutes, add the flaxseed gel.
  • Slowly drizzle in the honey while the mixture blends.
  • Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl and bring everything together.
  • The mixture is ready when you can form a ball without it sticking to your hands.
  • Shape the mixture into small balls and roll them in a plate of sesame seeds.
  • Note: We recommend serving this with your preferred protein (chicken, turkey, fish, etc.) for breakfast if you're not vegetarian.
