  • 1 cup tomato purée
  • 1 chopped red tomato
  • 1/4 bell pepper
  • 1/4 onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

     
  • Sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
  • Then add the chopped tomato and the tomato purée, followed by 1 cup of water.
  • Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.
  • Once the sauce boils for about 2 minutes, add the meatballs and continue cooking over low heat, making sure the sauce doesn’t dry out, for approximately 20 minutes.
