Ingredients
- 500 g pumpkin
- A pinch of salt
- Cassava flour to achieve desired consistency
- 2 or 3 tbsp plantain flour (optional, for added sweetness)
Preparation
- Cook the pumpkin in salted water until soft and mash it into a purée.
- Gradually incorporate all the ingredients.
- Form the arepas and cook them on a griddle until golden on both sides.
- Serve and fill with your favorite ingredients.
