Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups rinsed and drained quinoa
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 500g leeks, julienned
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- ¼ cup fresh sage (dried sage can also be used)
- 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
- Freshly ground pepper
Preparation
- Boil the quinoa in a pot with 2 ½ cups of water and a pinch of salt.
- Then, reduce the heat to low.
- Cook until the water is absorbed.
- Sauté the leeks for 4 minutes or until they begin to brown.
- Toast the walnuts over low heat.
- Once the quinoa is ready, mix it with the other ingredients and serve.
