Sautéed Swiss Chard with Mushrooms Recipe

Prepare a delicious dish of sautéed Swiss chard with mushrooms, walnuts, and a touch of curry, garnished with sesame seeds and fresh parsley.

Ingredients

     
  • 1 bunch of Swiss chard
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds
  • Olive oil
  • 250 g sliced mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp honey (optional, not for ketogenic diets)
  • 50 g parsley
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 80 g walnuts

Preparation

  • Wash the Swiss chard, cut it into large pieces, and cook it in boiling water.
  • Sauté the garlic and ¾ of the onion; set the remaining onion aside for the mushrooms.
  • Add the Swiss chard and cook over medium heat for 4 minutes.
  • Add the walnuts, curry, salt, and half of the chopped parsley (save the rest for garnish).
  • Separately, sauté the remaining onion and add the mushrooms with honey, salt, and pepper.
  • On a plate, arrange the Swiss chard and place the mushrooms in the center.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and the remaining parsley.
