Delicious sesame and raisin bars, sweetened with honey and cinnamon — perfect as a healthy snack or a tasty addition to your favorite recipes.


Ingredients
- 1 cup white sesame seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- ½ cup honey
- 50 g raisins
Preparation
- Toast the sesame seeds in the oven at 200°C (392°F), stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
- Meanwhile, heat the honey, cinnamon, and salt over medium heat until it starts to bubble. Then add the sesame seeds and raisins, stirring until the mixture is well combined.
- Remove from heat and spread the mixture onto a tray lined with parchment paper or sprayed with cooking oil to prevent sticking.
- Place in the freezer until it firms up.
- Once the mixture is solid, cut it into your desired shape and store it in a glass container.
