Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 beetroot
- 1 carrot
- 1 tomato
- 1 cucumber
- 1 glass jar of tuna
- Juice of one lemon
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Wash all the vegetables.
- Slice the onion, tomato, and cucumber.
- Grate the beetroot and carrot using the coarse side of the grater.
- On a flat serving plate, arrange the slices of tomato, onion, and cucumber, spreading them out to form the base of the salad.
- On top of the vegetable base, place 4 small mounds of grated carrot and beetroot, alternating them to form a colorful set of four little “islands.”
- In the center, add the shredded tuna, previously seasoned with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Drizzle a bit of this dressing over the entire salad to enhance the flavor.
