- 1 chopped red tomato
- 1/4 bell pepper
- 1/4 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- Basil
- Oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation
- Sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
- Then add the chopped tomato and the tomato purée, followed by 1 cup of water.
- Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.
- Once the sauce boils for about 2 minutes, add the meatballs and continue cooking over low heat, making sure the sauce doesn’t dry out, for approximately 20 minutes.
