Ingredients
- 3 medium-sized green plantains, peeled
- 120ml of clarified butter (almost half a stick), melted or coconut oil
- ½ to ¾ teaspoon of sea salt
- Natural spices (optional)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 150°C and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
- Process all the ingredients for a few minutes until a smooth dough forms that pulls away from the sides.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts and place on the two trays.
- Spread the dough onto the parchment paper and sprinkle with spices.
- Bake for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the trays from the oven and cut the cracker shapes with a knife or pizza cutter.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 50 minutes or until they reach a nice golden color.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on a rack.
