Enjoy a tomato-free sauce, for those who can't tolerate tomatoes or have joint pain or autoimmune disorders.


Ingredients
- 600 g ground meat
- 1 large carrot
- 1 large zucchini
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ cup water
- 2 tsp oregano
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dehydrated chili
Optional: 2 tbsp vermouth, 3 tbsp pecorino cheese (or aged sheep cheese)
To further reduce histamines, substitute garlic with chives and omit the pepper.
Preparation
- Sauté the meat with 1 tbsp of olive oil, pepper, oregano, and dehydrated chili.
- Blend the carrot, zucchini, garlic, and onion with the water, and add it to the meat.
- Cook for 1 hour over medium heat.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 20 more minutes.Remove from heat and serve.
