Enemy Foods

Definition of Enemy Foods

Enemy foods are those that are difficult for your intestine to digest, inflame it, and may contribute to the development of diseases. The most common enemy foods include:

  • Cereals and their derivatives
  • Dairy and its derivatives
  • Sugars
  • Processed foods

Additionally, when you have leaky gut due to the consumption of these foods or an imbalance in your gut microbiota, you may react to other foods, and these will then become enemies for you in particular while your intestine heals.
